Eric Fischl: Stories Told brings together 40 large-scale works by the renowned figurative painter. Born in 1948, Eric Fischl grew up in Long Island, New York, and Phoenix, Arizona, where he attended Phoenix College and Arizona State University in the late 1960s. After studying under contemporary landscape painter Merrill Mahaffey, Fischl received his B.F.A. in 1972 as part of the first graduating class at the California Institute for the Arts (CalArts). Working with figurative painting and narrative content in the late 1970s, when it was decidedly out of favor in the art world, Fischl made his subject what he knew best: memories of suburban life and the nuclear family of his childhood.

The two jaguars, Caipora and Saban, will get a habitat increase by more than double their current living situation. Mystic, a mountain lion, was found as an abandoned orphan 17 years ago in South Dakota will get a new space approximately five-times the size of her current home.The Big Cats of Arizona habitat will facilitate guest viewing like never before on the Arizona Trail. These intriguing desert cats are rarely seen in the wild, so viewing from different angles will improve visibility for guests.

With a dream and a passion for singing, author Anne Marie Kenny’s decision to move to France sparked the events she writes about in her memoir, A Song for Bohemia. Growing up in Omaha, Kenny began singing with her sisters when she was five. As an adult, Kenny moved to France to begin a professional singing career. Kenny performed on the radio, in clubs, and in concert halls throughout Paris. In 1989, Kenny watched from France as the Berlin Wall fell. Soon after, Kenny moved to Czechoslovakia watching the people around her reinvent themselves after 40 years of totalitarian rule that resonated with her own struggles at the time.

He was born Buenos Aires, Argentina.He traveled extensively before settling in the United States in 1989 to pursue the study of fine art.Over the years Carlos has been recognized at nationally juried arts festivals and design shows. In 2001, Carlos opened his first sculpture studio in Hoboken, NJ, where he created his work for many years. In 2014, Carlos relocated his studio to the beautiful Sonoran Desert in the town of Cave Creek.
